Jensen Huang Wife: Who Is Lori Huang?
Lori Huang, née Lori Mills, is an Oregon State University engineering graduate and the wife of NVIDIA co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang. Oregon State records identify her as a 1985 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. The university also identifies her as president of the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Foundation, which supports higher education, public health and STEM initiatives.
Unlike her husband, Lori has largely stayed away from the centre of technology media coverage. Consequently, there is less verified public information about her personal career. What is well documented is her engineering education, her long marriage to Jensen and her involvement in the couple’s philanthropic activities.
How Did Jensen Huang Meet His Wife?
Jensen Huang met his future wife while they were students at Oregon State University in the early 1980s. The pair were assigned as lab partners in an electrical engineering fundamentals class. Oregon State has repeatedly documented this meeting, and Huang has described meeting Lori as the most important event of his university years.
Their relationship began before Jensen founded NVIDIA. University accounts describe Lori as one of the few women in the engineering class, while later reporting has repeated the story of the two students studying together. From those university years, the relationship developed into a long-term marriage.
When Did Jensen Huang and Lori Huang Get Married?
Jensen Huang and Lori Huang married in 1985, according to Oregon State alumni material and later reporting. The marriage came shortly after Jensen completed his electrical engineering degree in 1984 and in the same year Lori completed hers in 1985.
By 2026, Jensen and Lori Huang have been married for about 41 years. Current public profiles continue to identify Huang as married, while recent coverage describes Lori as his wife.
What Does Lori Huang Do?
Lori Huang is best documented publicly through her education and philanthropic work. Oregon State University identifies her as president of the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Foundation, which supports higher education, public health and STEM initiatives in the United States, alongside community organisations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
For readers searching for Jensen Huang wife details, it is important to separate documented information from claims repeated by low-authority websites. The strongest public sources focus on Lori’s Oregon State education, her role in the foundation and her family life rather than providing an extensive modern employment biography.
Jensen Huang Wife and Their Children
Jensen Huang and Lori Huang have two children, a daughter named Madison and a son named Spencer. Oregon State confirms that the couple have two children, while recent reporting identifies them by name and describes both as having careers connected to NVIDIA.
Madison Huang works at NVIDIA in a senior product and technical marketing role focused on physical AI platforms, according to recent reporting. Before joining the company, she studied marketing and strategy at London Business School and worked in marketing-related roles.
Spencer Huang also works at NVIDIA. Recent reporting describes him as a product-management executive. His earlier career included product and strategy consulting, and he has also been associated with the cocktail industry in Taiwan.
Lori Huang and the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Foundation
Lori Huang’s public role is closely associated with the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Foundation, which she leads with Jensen Huang. The foundation supports higher education, public health and STEM initiatives.
Oregon State University records that the Huangs contributed $50 million in 2022 towards the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex, supporting research and teaching in areas including AI, climate science, clean water and robotics.
Their philanthropy extends beyond Oregon State. In 2026, Forbes reported that Jensen and Lori Huang gave Vanderbilt University $75 million for its planned San Francisco campus. The gift is intended to establish the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang College of Art, Architecture and Design.
Lori Huang and Oregon State University
Oregon State University remains central to the story of Jensen and Lori Huang. Both studied electrical engineering there, and the university has continued to recognise their connection through major philanthropic gifts and facilities named after them.
The Jen-Hsun and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex is named for the couple. Oregon State says the facility is designed for team-based research and teaching and will include a powerful supercomputer. The university reported in 2025 that the complex was scheduled to open in late autumn 2026.
The university connection is therefore a major part of the documented Jensen Huang wife story. Lori completed her engineering degree there, met Jensen there and later became involved in philanthropy supporting education and research.
Does Lori Huang Work at NVIDIA?
There is no strong official source reviewed for this article establishing Lori Huang as an NVIDIA executive or employee. Her documented public role is instead connected to the Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Foundation and the couple’s charitable activities.
This distinction is useful because several members of the Huang family are associated with NVIDIA. Jensen is the company’s co-founder, president and CEO, while recent reporting identifies both Madison and Spencer as NVIDIA employees. Lori’s role should not be conflated with theirs.
Is Jensen Huang Still Married to Lori Huang in 2026?
Yes. Publicly available information in 2026 identifies Jensen Huang as married to Lori Huang. Forbes’ current profile lists Huang’s marital status as married, and recent People coverage continues to describe Lori as his wife.
